Trap

Why do people goes towards a trap when they know there is a trap in front of them? Izzit because they know how to handle the trap? or because of the temptation in front of the trap? or they are just blindly stupid??? There can be so many answers to it but i think the best way is to walk away from it...But if just walked away, they might not know what they had missed. So what's the moral of the story?
